Du caractère presque tribal du morceau d'ouverture "Zoreilles" aux séquences électro-atmosphériques du magnifique "Comme un souffle", en passant par le groove cyber-punk de "Love 130", Charles premier construit pas à pas une oeuvre complexe. I always liked French connection. They have a tons of brilliant acts, no matter if we are speaking about noise, hnw, drone, ambient or any other way of experimentation. Charles premier is the one of those acts who knows how to get this job done. I simply had the privilege to hear & review his new material called "En Attendant". "En Attendant" is the brilliant material consisted of 7 professionaly executed tracks. It’s a great mixture of different styles, such as drone, field recordings, noise, ambient and harsh noise wall, but only in small doses. You can hear ups and downs, noise oscillations, lot’s of white noise and even speech in some parts of the tracks. It’s hard to define the mood that goes with this kind of material, cuz you can implement relaxation, anger, happiness & chaotic behaviour in every single track on this CD. That’s a big plus if you count my opinion about it. There’s a lot of dark atmosphere on this material and I simply love it! You can even mix the tracks all together and you can still get the same feeling, cuz every track can be the perfect intro, outro or the main song on the album."
